This mission can be overwhelmingly difficult due to the constant spawning of gunships from the start, though it will get much more annoying once you reach the crater as now tanks and Bazooka vets spawn endlessly. Keeping your AA vehicles alive is crucial as they are your only defense units against gunships. Losing them will guarantee a quick defeat.

The Cenotaph is a ancient Legion monument created by the modern Xylvanians.

Overview[]

The Cenotaph is a large war memorial for the Iron Legion. The monument was erected at the crater where Lord Ferrok and his Iron Tower were destroyed by the Solar Empire's superweapon, alongside any Legion remains they could find and bury. For over 200 years the memorial sat quietly in the middle of Xylvania.

In truth, the Cenotaph is a mysterious device capable of resurrecting the Iron Legion and casting its shadow on the world once more. The key to it all is the sword of Lord Ferrok, passed down from Kaiser to Kaiser. Kaiser Vlad was the most recent holder of the sword, until Countess Ingrid stole it from him and summoned the Legion, desperate to push back the united Frontier-Tundran offensive. But the Legion's resurrection followed by immediate aggression only provoked the Solar Empire, the Legion's foes since ages long past. The Empire joined with the Frontier and Tundra to create the Alliance of Nations, who set out pushing back the Legion and destroying the Cenotaph.

Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers[]

This mission takes place near the original area where the Iron Tower once stood. Now due to Countess Ingrid growing very jealous and power hungry, steals Vlad's sword which once belonged to Lord Ferrok and used it to reawaken the Legion.

This mission can be overwhelmingly difficult due to the constant spawning of gunships from the start, though it will get much more annoying once you reach the crater as now tanks and Bazooka Vets spawn endlessly. Keeping your AA vehicles alive is crucial as they are your only defense against gunships. Losing them will guarantee a quick defeat.
