Changes: Striking Distance

Striking Distance is the last Mission in the Tundran Campaign. The mission starts out with Tsar Gorgi flying to the Vlad Stag to speak with Kaiser Vlad. They make an agreement to fight against the Western Frontier. After the Mission countess Ingrid arrives with a squadron of Bombers and tells the Tsar that the deal is off and bombs both armies. The aftermath of the attack results in the two factions creating the Alliance of Nations.

Mission

The player has to capture 3 Tundran radar arrays before the Frontier bomber squadron gets to the area. The player is given 3 artillery units and they can be used to shell the Tundran positions across the river. The commander has a time limit so the player needs to hurry.

Strategy

The artillery units you get can easily destroy the Tundran fortifications but Bazooka vets can cross the river and can do lots of damage to your artillery if not protected. Gunships will also spawn periodically but Nova will give them away, they will destroy all your artillery if they are not protected by your anti-air vets.

Trivia

This is the last mission were you fight the Tundran army.
Tsar Gorgi is apparently sent into exile after this but this is not mentioned before Black Gold.
